C. van den Heuvel & Zn. BV understands quality to mean that what has been agreed upon by means of a customer-oriented policy is to be carried out quickly and correctly. This policy is characterized by:

To support this policy and to assist the daily and strategic management, a management system is used.

​

The emphasis within this system is on the integral management of processes. In concrete terms, this means that C. van den Heuvel & Zn. BV not only manages and monitors daily work, but also looks for continuous improvement in supporting processes. For example, we are constantly working on efficiency of resources, modern automation and good and fast communication.  Careful plans are drawn up for this, evaluations are carried out and the effectiveness and improvement are reviewed afterwards. All this takes place in the periodic quality consultations and in internal audits, among other things.

We are certified for the Quality Mark Transport & Logistics. We are certified since December 10, 2009, 2013 reassessment (issued 22-01-2013, valid until 24-11-2015), 2015 reassessment (valid from January 5, 2016, valid until November 24, 2018) and a reassessment valid from 24 November 2018 to November 24, 2021.

Safety

We are aware that there is currently a need to provide adequate protection not only for human health and life, for natural resources, but also for information, which is very valuable for any company. We understand that information security not only ensures sufficient confidentiality, but also accessibility and integrity. This process requires continuous monitoring and improvement, which we pursue by developing an information security system.

We believe that it meets all the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) is for C. van den Heuvel & Zn. BV one of the main objectives of the information security management system.

We only process the collected data for the purposes for which it was provided to us. We comply with our information obligations when collecting such data, in particular with regard to informing how and for how long this data will be kept and who the recipient is.

 

This ensures that:

• Only authorized persons have access to the confidential data,

• The necessary information is available to the relevant individuals, which guarantees short lead times,

• We ensure the quality of the data used, its completeness and correctness, which ultimately allows us to minimize the risk of errors.
